First day of practice, Tuesday

First day of practice is over, and everybody is happy.
The night brought some rain to Homenkollen, and a thin layer of ice to the quarterpipe. The salt did not stick, but the morninghours softened it up a bit.
When the riders arrived at the arena, the quarterpipe was in close to perfect condidtion for some serious riding.

Nobody held back today, and we saw some huge airs even this early in the week. Risto Mattila was the techguy of the day going for the bs 900, while Fredrik Scuderi went for the hight with his 6,6 metres bs air.  Daniel Josefsen sticked it with smooth riding and variaition and it is a pleasure to see Jody Koenders riding the TAC quarterpipe again.

The organization at the arena worked as planned and all the riders got as many hits as they wanted. After some well spent hours in the quarterpipe, the riders bellys were filled up with some delicious organic food.

Give it up for Claes Hagstrøm and the mathdudes who buildt this beast. All the riders are extremely satisfied with the transition in the quarterpipe, and that shows on the riding.

Hopefully the weather holds, the temprature drops a bit, and this will be an amazing week..
