Manuel Pietropoli is participating in the Arctic Challenge for his 4th time this year. Last year he placed third, won the highest air and is a good candidate for the world record breaking. Watch out for this guy!

How has your season been so far?
-    It´s been good. Lots of riding, good snow and good competitions.

What is snowboarding for you?
-    It´s my life! I have been riding for 10 years now and I think it is fantastic!

What is you goal this year?

- I don´t know. We have to wait and see. The quarterpipe is really big and the world record is very high. Terjes record on 9,8 metres is hard to beat.
Especially with all these good riders like Jack Mitrani, who crashed at 10,3 metres air in Innsbruck a couple of weeks ago...

Do you think you have a chance on the world record?
-    Well, I have some problems with my leg. I have talked to the doctor and I might have to save it for the finals, but I am here for the world record, yes!

What is your best memory from TAC?
-    Last year when I placed in third, and the highest air.

What do you think about TAC?
- It´s the best competition in the world. The organisation, the riders and the quarter are absolutely great!

When you are not snowboarding you are..?
-    with my friend hanging out. I don´t skate, but just started surfing and that is really fun!

Any shoutouts to the people?
- My family, my sponsors and my coach, Roberto Moresi, (olympic pipe shaper - Torino) deserves a big thanks!
