Training Diary Day 2!

Ignoring the combination of late night socializing and jetlag, the riders went on the bus to Holmenkollen on Wednesday morning for the second day of training
When arriving with the bus the riders were amazed by the sight that met them, no, it was not a dinosaur or a naked lady, but a fog that was so thick that it was impossible to se the pipe from the top.  You couldn’t see anything, it wasn’t even possible to see where the pipe stopped and the heavens above started. It was just a big grey wall. This to the riders’ big amusement, quotes like “drop in!” and “no fu**ing way!”  flourished. Later at the riders meeting they decided to try it out with a training session for a couple of hours.  It proved to not be a problem at all, as we all know, fog is worst from a long distance,  not up close.
The arrangement is beginning to shape up. The camera people are adjusting their cameras, practising their moves on the riders, who are also practicing their moves.
The photographers are finding their best locations, knowing where to stand when the riders are flying trough the air. The last of the snow on the tribunes are being removed, it is beginning to look like we are ready to go…
